Message from Principal Somes

Message from principal

Greetings Renaissance Students and Families!

I am very pleased to welcome new families and welcome back returning students and families. As your Principal, I am excited to continue the work in our new Innovation Plan which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. At the same time, we will not leave behind our commitment to the Fine Arts either as students will have Art and Music at least twice a week.

In the area of Social Emotional Learning, we are committed to Phoenix PRIDE, Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Excellence. At Renaissance, the staff believes that these are qualities of good students at school and good citizens in the community. We are continually looking for students and classes to demonstrate these values so they can be recognized and rewarded.

If we can be of assistance, please reach out to your child’s teacher or me so we can provide the best possible learning experience.
